Rotterdam seeks extn for Positra port

A consortium led by Port of Rotterdam, the largest port of Europe, has sought extension from the Gujarat Government to develop the Positra Port Project which was hindered due to environmental clearance issues. Rotterdam had signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government to develop the port with an investment of Rs 5,000 crore. The other partners in the consortium include Port of Sohar and Sea King Infrastructure Ltd (SKIL).
