CCEA approves 121 km Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor project

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved the 121.7-km Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor Project from Palwal to Sonipat via Sohna-Manesar-Kharkhauda, to be built at an estimated Rs.56.07 bn. This rail line will start from Palwal and end at Harsana Kalan station on the Delhi-Ambala section. The project will be implemented by the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation, a JV company of the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Haryana.
