Centre to invest Rs.2,550 mn for Kushinagar International Airport

Minister of Civil Aviation (MoCA) Jyotiraditya Scindia has set a budget of Rs.2,550 mn for the Kushinagar International Airport in Uttar Pradesh. Flights are anticipated to begin in October from Kushinagar International Airport. The work on the runway, terminal building, ATC, fire, electricity substation, and the optical fibre is already completed. Officers, technical, and administrative personnel have all been appointed. The airport is spread out over 600 acre. Instrument Landing System (ILS) and Doppler Very High-Frequency Omni Range (DVOR) need to be installed and a request for ILS installation has been sent.
