Indian Railways Nagpur station to get a makeover

Nagpur railway station will soon undergo a massive renovation. 

The Heritage Conservation Committee recently approved the redevelopment plan. The work will be conducted by Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation (IRSDC). The plan proposes to de-clutter the heritage building by relocating the surrounding similar looking buildings, and enhance beauty as well as the grandeur of the heritage building. Besides, the plan proposes to introduce lift for universal accessibility as well as modernise without disturbing the heritage.
