Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways
launched development projects at Gomti Nagar railway station in Lucknow, Uttar
Pradesh. The Gomti Nagar railway station is currently undergoing a
redevelopment project. Passengers will benefit from improved facilities. The
Minister inaugurated the terminal facilities and coaching complex, including
the newly constructed second entrance. The station development is being done
with the needs of the next 50 years in mind, benefiting all sections of
society. Currently railway projects worth Rs 970 bn are being built in Uttar
Pradesh. The goal is to improve passenger services and thus transform Indian
Railways.
