NH construction work worth Rs.15 bn approved in Punjab

Minister of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) Nitin Gadkari has announced the construction work of four and six-lane Greenfield Ludhiana-Rupnagar National Highway (NH-205K). The construction work of NH-205K, including Spur to Kharar with Ludhiana bypass under Bharatmala Pariyojana, has been sanctioned in Punjab with a budget of Rs.15.01 bn. The economic corridor’s development has been accentuated under Bharatmala Pariyojana. The 25,344 km national highway that has been planned would provide connectivity to economically essential production and consumption centres.
