NHAI approves second phase of Mandi-Pathankot road project

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has okayed the construction of another 20-km stretch of the Pathankot-Mandi four-lane project between Thanpuri and Parour in Kangra. Global bids for the second phase of the project have been opened at the NHAI headquarters in New Delhi recently and the work, valuing `8.16 billion and awarded to a private company for its completion in 21 months.
