NHAI awards tender to improve ORR in Mysuru

Travelling on the outer ring road (ORR) of Mysuru will become a better experience in a few months, as the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has taken up the improvement of busy stretches. The 41.5-km, 10-lane National Highway (NH 275K) ORR connects the major Bengaluru, Bantwala, Khozikode (Calicut) and Ooty highways, and is used by tourists who travel to hill stations in Ooty, Kodagu and Kerala. In the first phase, NHAI will take up work on a 10-km stretch at a cost of Rs.148 mn. The tender has been awarded to Hyderabad-based RMN Infrastructure in the EPC mode.
