NHAI invites bids for Amritsar bypass upgrade

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for four-laning of Amritsar Bypass in Punjab. The scope of work includes four-laning of Amritsar Bypass (greenfield alignment) from new Tarn Taran Road to Ajnala Road (design length 43 km) and upgradation of the existing Amritsar-Khemkaran Road (NH-354) to four-lane configuration (design length 6.944 km) for a total design length of 49.944 km on EPC mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana. The estimated value of the project is `7312.4 mn with completion period of 24 months.
