NHAI to convert seven roads into 4-lane highway

NHAI has proposed to convert seven roads connecting the under-construction Delhi-Mumbai Expressway into four-lane highways. There are eight roads connected with the 1,350 km Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, of which only one is a four-lane highway. NHAI has finished the initial survey and the proposal has been sent to Delhi for approval. The expressway is under construction and is likely to be finished in March 2023 with  an estimated expense of Rs.1,000 bn.
