RLDA invites bids for developing railway land at Howrah

The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) has invited online bids for marketing and financial consultants for the commercial development of railway land of 89,032 sq m at Salt Golah, Howrah in West Bengal. RLDA is hoping to generate an investment of up to Rs.8 bn crore from the site. Development of two more commercial sites in Liluah Area of Kolkata are also in the pipeline which will be commercialised shortly. The consultant will be required to carry out valuation for different lease periods ranging from 30-99 years and NPV at different rates of discount to arrive at the optimum valuation, and also develop a financial model for the project, market the project and assist RLDA in managing the bidding process.
