The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is planning to repair and upgrade the road connecting Rampura Chowk on NH-8 and Pataudi road. The proposal for the Rs.638 mn project has already been approved by the authority and the work will begin in the next two months. The project will be beneficial for the commuters between Gurugram, Pataudi and Rewari. The stretch will have three major junctions and six minor junctions. It will have a flexible pavement as per the guidelines of the Indian Road Congress and the main carriageway will be 14-m wide with a service road of 5.5-m. GMDA will also be developing a cycle track along the road with a width of 2.5-m, as well as 2-m wide footpaths on both sides of the road.
