Rs.10.34 bn for national highways projects in Bihar

The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved funds of Rs.10.34 bn for repair and maintenance of two National Highways in Bihar. It has also issued orders for preparation of DPRs for five other projects. Rs.9.71 bn has been sanctioned for the repair of Munger-Bhagalpur-Mirzachauki NH-80. The 120-km highway will be widened up to 10 m of cemented road. Another Rs.200 mn has been sanctioned for carrying out maintenance of the road till the bidding process for overall repair work is completed.
