UPEIDA invites RFQs, RFPs for DBFOT project

The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has invited request for quotation (RFQ) and request for proposal (RFP) for the construction of the 594 km Meerut-Prayagraj Ganga Expressway on the public-private partnership (PPP) model under design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) scheme. This six-lane access-controlled expressway will have a 120 m right of way (RoW) and is designed to be expandable to eight lanes in the future. On the Meerut end, the expressway will be connected to the Delhi-Meerut expressway’s upcoming phase-5. That phase includes the construction of a 14.6 km Zainuddinpur to Jahidpur connector.
