1,233 tonne of fly-ash set sail from NTPC plant

Marking the commencement of a critical integrated movement through three waterways, 1,233 tonne of fly-ash, a by-product from NTPC's Kahalgaon power plant, has been flagged off at Kahalgaon on NW-1, river Gangafor Pandu on NW-2, river Brahmaputra. Two barges of 1,000 tonne capacity each, belonging to IWAI, will reach Pandu near Guwahati via the Indo-Bangladesh Protocol route.
