Bihar to generate more power

The Bihar government plans to generate over 16,000 MW power by 2020. By 2015, the state will get 5,300 MW from various sources, which will be more than its consumption. A new thermal power station of 1,980 MW is being set up with a cost of Rs 15,132 crore at Nabinagar.
