MSEDCL gets nod for `52 bn upgradation plan

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) received an approval for its Rs 5,200 crore infrastructure upgradation plan from the state cabinet.The plan aims to offer reliable and efficient power supply and reduce transmission and distribution losses by around 1 per cent from the present 14 per cent. The programme will also equalise the ratio between the length of wires for high-tension and low-tension, thus ensuring a smooth flow of electricity.
