Last summer, the capacity of Pali substation in Noida was 945 kV, whereas the demand was of 1,050 kV, leading to power cuts. To end the district´s power shortage, the power department is setting up two substations of 132 kV and 220 kV in Sector 44 and near Botanical Garden in Sector 38. The Noida authority has already allocated money for the project and a technical feasibility report is being prepared.
