The Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to develop new roads at Rs.64 bn with financial aid from New Development Bank (NDB) in the state. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced this recently at a high-level review meeting on roads, airports, and seaports. The officials assessed the progress of the ongoing national highway projects and suggested action plan to develop new roads. They said that Vijayawada-Bengaluru by Kodikonda’s check-post was put on fast-track while Sheelanagar-Sabbavaram, the national highway in Vizag, and Anakapalli to Anandapuram road through Vizag, was ready for building. Contact: Government of Andhra Pradesh.Website: www.ap.gov.in
