NHAI has proposed to convert seven roads connecting the under-construction Delhi-Mumbai Expressway into four-lane highways. There are eight roads connected with the 1,350 km Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, of which only one is a four-lane highway. NHAI has finished the initial survey and the proposal has been sent to Delhi for approval.
