The Delhi Meerut Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) is being built at a full pace and the people would soon get the opportunity to ride India's first rapid rail, National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has reportedly declared. Seventeen kilometres of the priority portion of the RRTS will be made accessible to commuters after a successful trial and receiving NOC from another department. The building of Anand Vihar RRTS Station, reportedly one of the largest stations on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut line, is moving along quickly. The station is being built using a top-down approach, meaning that ground-level work is completed first and then underground work follows.
