The Smart City Thiruvananthapuram (SCTL) is planning to beautify public spaces in the city. As per an official of SCTL, the Smart City Mission will allot Rs.10,000 to each ward under the corporation and the ward councillors will identify the locations where waste dumping is rampant to beautify the place. The SCTL also plans to upgrade the integrated command and control centre at the district administration and beautify at least one location in the 100 wards under the corporation.
