Punjab cabinet minister Inderbir Singh Nijjar has inaugurated the ‘legacy waste bioremediation plant’ on the Tajpur Road dump site in Ludhiana, which will clear 500,000 tonne of legacy waste. The project will cost Rs 271.7 million under the Ludhiana Smart City. The process would be carried out in two phases. The work of the first phase has been handed over to Sagar Motors.
