Jet Airways has stated that its services to Bhubaneswar and Ranchi have been disrupted due to Cyclone Phailin, say reports from Delhi.
On October 12, before Phailin made landfall in Odisha, there were no commercial flights to either Bhubaneswar or Visakhapatnam, though both the airports were open for operations.
Even the Airports Authority of India (AAI) confirmed that Bhubaneswar airport will become operational at 10 am on October 13. The city area was getting heavy rains early in the morning.
