Emersons honours industry innovation

The 5th Emerson Cup 2012 Awards, organised by Emerson Climate Technologies on October 31, 2012, were held at Hyderabad. The annual event recognised the outstanding innovations and energy efficient designs in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry. A panel of distinguished specialists from the air conditioning and green building industry judged 72 entries. There had been five award categories namely New Building; New Building - With Emerson Technology; Retrofit; Commercial Refrigeration and Students - Engineering and Architecture. Projects from Malaysia, Indonesia and India won the top three awards in the professional categories while the universities in the Philippines and India won two awards in the engineering and architecture student categories, respectively.
