Siemens to supply the first compact vacuum degassing plant

Jailaxmi Casting & Alloys Pvt Ltd, an Indian steelmaker, has awarded Siemens VAI Metals Technologies, India an order to supply a 35 tonne vacuum degassing plant to its production plant in Aurangabad. The new de­gassing plant will process around 110,000 tonne of liquid steel per annum.
