Supertech awards Rs 650-cr Noida project to ACC

To build an iconic 80-floor tower in Noida, realty firm Supertech on December 20 stated that it has awarded Rs 650 crore contract to UAE's Arabian Construction Company (ACC).

The 300 meter-tall mixed-use building 'Spira' would have luxury flats, two 5-star hotels and commercial space. The tower is part of 17-acre project Supernova, being developed at an investment of Rs 2,700 crore.

Supertech Chairman and Managing Director RK Arora told the media in Delhi that the company has awarded the contract to ACC as they have the expertise to create iconic buildings. ACC has constructed many high-rise towers in the middle east. The contract is worth Rs 650 crore, he added.

ACC India Managing Director Ani Ray said this is the first standalone contract for the company. ACC is constructing Lodha Developers prestigious project 'World One' in Mumbai, which has 117 floors with 450 meter height, in partnership with Simplex Infrastructures, he added. The company has so far developed 14 towers with a height over 300 meters.

In Spira, it will be using advanced construction technology which is required to construct high rise buildings. The construction of the tower has started and would be completed in the next four years," Ray said.
