Rs.60 crore rural infra projects scrapped

The Maharashtra state rural development department has shelved infrastructure projects costing Rs 60 crore in the hinterland. The construction of roads, drains and other basic amenities in rural areas at the zilla parishad-level will be affected due to the government´s decision to scrap these projects citing lack of funds.
