In seeking sanction for projects under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) State governments have failed to follow the guidelines for filing detailed project reports (DPRs) and a whip has been cracked on the State governments by the Union Ministry of Urban Development for the lapse.
Under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM), the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) will put up detailed project reports (DPRs) for development works, including road and bridge projects totaling to Rs 390 crore.
