1. Bangalore Metro project to be expanded

The Karnataka Government has decided to extend the network of Bangalore Metro Rail from 119 km to 300 km at `306.95 bn by adding 181 km in the third phase to reach satellites towns by 2025.

Udupi Power Corporation (UPCL), a subsidiary of Adani Power, will produce an additional 1,600 MW of power at its thermal plant in Udupi by 2020. At present, the plant produces 1,200 MW of power.
