Alstom T&D on November 11 said it has bagged orders worth Rs 100 crore from Power Grid Corporation. The power transmission and distribution gear maker, Alstom T&D India bagged two contracts worth 12.5 million euro (Rs 100 crore) awarded by Power Grid Corporation of India.
New orders worth Rs 1,333 crore have been secured by L&T Construction in October 2013 in its various business segments. The company's water and renewable energy business secured orders valued at Rs 1,095 crore from various customers, the construction major said in a statement.
In Himachal Pradesh, infrastructure company C & C Construction has won fresh orders worth Rs 323 crore for widening of two road stretches. Himachal Pradesh Road and Other Infrastructure Development Corporation (HPROIDC) has entrusted the orders to the company, the company stated on October 10.
