Southern Railways Palakkad division has constructed retaining walls between Mangalore Junction and Thokur in Mangalore. Piyush Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, mentioned this while speaking at the 58th Railway Week celebrations in Palakkad last week. The retaining walls have been constructed to prevent landslips during monsoon.
