CHB to build 6-floor flats to cope with space deficit

The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) will construct six-storey flats for its Sector 63 housing scheme in order to tackle the problem of shortage of land. The scheme has 2,000 flats in the offing. The project will take about a year-and-a-half for completion. The board’s housing project for government employees in Sector 52 and Sector 56 too will have six storeys.
