Goa to widen 265 km road network

The Goa Government has sent a proposal to the Centre to develop and widen 265 km of roads connecting all important touristic spots in the state under the Central Government´s Bharat Mala Pariyojana. The proposal includes four-laning of NH-4 at an estimated cost of Rs 1,250 crore. It also includes roads connecting beaches, towns and villages with places of religious importance. The project will be developed in four phases.
