Survey conducted for road works in Pune

In Pune's Dattawadi area students of BN College of Architecture and other NGOs conducted a survey recently and asked the residents about their particular needs with regard to the city roads. The survey was part of the pilot survey for sustainable road design for the city. The survey was conducted under the guidance of experts from Curtin University of Australia. A sustainable road design is to be prepared to encourage maximum space for public transport. Once the project of sustainable road design project is done, it is going to be submitted to the Pune Municipal Corporation. The students of landscape architecture from BN College of Architecture, the Centre for Environment Education (CEE), Parisar NGO and Curtin University Sustainability Policy Institute of Perth in Australia have joined hands in the survey.
