Haryana-Railways JV

The Rail Ministry has set up a JVC between Haryana Government and Railways to attract more industries, increase revenue and provide employment to youth. Railways has also inked an MOU with the state government for planting of saplings on the vacant land on both sides of the railway lines. Besides, various steps are being taken for the upgradation of railway stations in the state including modernisation of the Ambala Railway Station and speeding on the Delhi-Chandigarh route.
