Kerala govt inks JV deal with railways

The Kerala Government has entered into an agreement with the railways for the formation of a JV company for development of railway infrastructure in the state. The agreement envisages formation of a JV company having 51 per cent stake of the state government and 49 per cent stake of railways. The company will primarily identify projects and possible financing avenues. The JV will form special purpose vehicles (SPVs) for each project.
