A Western Railway (WR) team has approved the feasibility report for the construction of two high-speed train lines over the current ones between the two important stations.Once completed, these tracks will have the capacity to carry passengers in air-conditioned trains almost 50 m above the existing lines. The tracks will rest on massive piers placed alternately between the tracks below or on either side, depending on the availability of land and soil characteristics of the land.
