Mormugao Port to develop cruise terminal

Mormugao Port Trust is in discussion with various cruise liners for plans to develop cruise tourism. This will serve as an alternate source of revenue at a time when iron ore cargo volumes have declined. The Supreme Court has imposed a ban on iron ore mining in the state following allegations of widespread irregularities.
