Adani Green's Capacity Jumps 30%, Crosses 14 GW in FY25
Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) grew its operational capacity by 30 per cent year-on-year to 14,243 MW in FY25, with another 1,000 MW nearing completion. This will take its total to over 15,000 MW soon, the company said in a filing.
The capacity stood at 10,934 MW in FY24. Solar saw the biggest jump, rising from 7,393 MW to 10,103 MW, while wind capacity increased from 1,401 MW to 2,000 MW. Hybrid capacity remained steady at 2,140 MW.
Energy sales for the year touched 27,969 million units (MUs), up from 21,878 MUs last year. Solar contributed 16,738 MUs, compared to 11,046 MUs in FY24. Wind sales grew to 3,834 MUs, up from 3,188 MUs, and hybrid projects delivered 7,397 MUs.
AGEL continues to be among the country’s top renewable energy producers, with a growing portfolio across solar, wind, and hybrid segments.
