ANRF Selects 124 Institutions Under PAIR Program

The Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) has unveiled the first set of PAIR Networks under its flagship Partnerships for Accelerated Innovation and Research (PAIR) Program, marking a major step toward building a robust and inclusive national research ecosystem.

The selected network includes 18 Hub institutions and 106 Spoke institutions, fostering strategic mentorship and collaboration among universities, colleges, and premier research bodies. The initiative is designed to enhance research capacity, promote regional excellence, and support the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
From 30 Hub proposals and 166 Spoke nominations, the selected institutions were divided into two categories:
  • Category A: 7 Hubs with 45 Spokes
  • Category B: 11 Hubs with 61 Spokes
This move is expected to transform academic institutions into centres of innovation and leadership by unlocking their research potential and encouraging inter-institutional collaboration.

The full list of selected institutions is available in the official Annexure-I.
