AtkinsRéalis and ICE Launch ‘Beyond Engineering’ Lecture Series in the Middle East
AtkinsRéalis (TSX: ATRL) and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) have launched the ‘Beyond Engineering’ lecture series in the Middle East, fostering industry collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
The four-part series will cover market-specific insights, focusing on digitization, AI, decarbonization, and sustainability while addressing key challenges in infrastructure, transportation, and energy.
The inaugural session, ‘Engineering Excellence 2025: Navigating Challenges, Creating Opportunities’, was held in Dubai, featuring expert discussions on industry growth and talent development.
Campbell Gray, CEO, Middle East and Africa, AtkinsRéalis, emphasized the initiative’s role in tackling climate risks and urban expansion, stating, “By collaborating with ICE, we can leverage expertise to drive innovation and value across the region.”
ICE Director General Dr Janet Young highlighted the importance of international knowledge-sharing, noting, “This series brings together the best minds to shape the future of civil engineering.”
AtkinsRéalis also reaffirmed its commitment to local talent development, with its Graduate Development Program in the UAE and Saudi Arabia training over 130 graduates since 2022.
