Azad Engineering Secures Rs 4.46 Billion Deal With GE Vernova for Airfoils

Azad Engineering, a precision engineering firm based in India, has signed a Rs 4.46 billion agreement with GE Vernova’s Steam Power Services business unit. The six-year deal, valid through 2030, involves the manufacturing and supply of complex rotating and stationary airfoils for nuclear, thermal and industrial power applications.

The contract aims to deepen the long-standing strategic relationship between Azad Engineering and GE Vernova, reinforcing Azad’s role in the global power generation supply chain. The company recently inaugurated a seven thousand six hundred square metre lean manufacturing facility designed to meet high-volume production demands for international clients.

Azad Engineering has been actively expanding its manufacturing capabilities as part of a broader strategy to establish long-term partnerships with global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the aerospace, defence, energy and oil & gas industries.

This agreement underscores the firm’s engineering competence in delivering high-precision components critical to the power generation sector and signals its intent to further integrate with global supply chains across advanced industrial sectors.
