BPL establishes new PCB manufacturing unit in Bengaluru


BPL announced that they had established a new manufacturing unit for printed circuit boards (PCBs) in Bengaluru. They stated that this expansion was aimed at meeting the increasing demand for printed circuit boards and was aligned with the government's emphasis on the "Make in India" initiative. It was mentioned that in the previous fiscal year, BPL had invested Rs 150 million to upgrade its existing plant with automated machines, thus improving output, quality, and industry compliance.

It was projected that the Indian printed circuit board market would experience a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 18% from 2024 to 2032, with an anticipated value of $ 20 billion by 2032.
