Draft of a master plan for Mangaluru to be ready in 3 months
A Muda official stated at the Tuesday meeting of the Mangaluru City Corporation council that the draft of the revised master plan for Mangaluru city, which is being created by the organization, will be completed in three months.
To avoid any future issues, MCC Commissioner Anand CL instructed Muda officials to consult with each of the 60 corporators before finalizing the draft of the master plan.
Mayor Jayanand Anchan instructed Muda authorities to work in conjunction with MCC officials after corporators raised the issue of applicants being forced to run from pillar to post for single site permission at Muda.
The issue of a lack of water in Dambel, Baikampady, Panambur, Katipalla, Krishnapura, and other locations was also brought up by the members.
