EHRDC, Unilever Ink Pact To Develop Emirati Talent In Private Sector

The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) has signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding with Unilever General Trading LLC to accelerate the development of Emirati talent within the private sector. The partnership will focus on employment generation, upskilling initiatives and promoting innovation in alignment with Dubai’s human capital goals.

The collaboration supports the UAE Centennial 2071 and the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), aiming to enhance private sector participation in national development and strengthen the federal Emiratisation strategy.

Under the MoU, EHRDC and Unilever will launch joint initiatives to facilitate talent acquisition, enhance training programmes, and promote knowledge exchange.

H.E. Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Deputy Chairman of EHRDC, called the partnership a pivotal step towards building a future-ready, skilled Emirati workforce.

A key component of the collaboration is Unilever’s ‘U4YOU’ graduate programme, which offers Emirati graduates a two-year rotational experience across business functions. The initiative aims to promote high-performing candidates to leadership roles over time.

This agreement underscores a shared commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable workforce development in Dubai.
