Govt Invites Applications for NCDRC Member Vacancies
The Department of Consumer Affairs, under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, has invited applications for two vacancies in the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), a quasi-judicial body established under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The Commission is headquartered in New Delhi.
Key Details of the Application Process Application Mode: Only online applications will be accepted. Eligibility & Terms: Governed by the Tribunals Reforms Act, 2021 and the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021. Selection Process: The Search-Cum-Selection Committee will scrutinise applications based on qualifications and experience before shortlisting candidates for personal interaction. Final Selection: Based on an overall evaluation of candidates, including their qualifications, experience, and personal interaction.
Important Deadlines & Submission Online applications open from: 25th March 2025 Last date to apply: 23rd April 2025 Physical Submission (where applicable): A copy of the online application, along with required documents, must be sent through proper channels to: Under Secretary (CPU), Department of Consumer Affairs, Room No. 466-A, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi by 23rd April 2025.
