Under this state scheme, 15,250 beneficiaries received land plot allotment certificates on Wednesday, according to an official statement. At the event held at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, the chief minister handed out plot allotment letters to the beneficiaries on the spot. Similar programmes were also held simultaneously in Yamunanagar, Palwal, Sirsa, and Mahendragarh.

Addressing the gathering in Rohtak, Saini emphasized the BJP government's commitment to simplifying the lives of the poor and empowering them. He criticized the previous Congress government for promising 100 square yard plots to the poor but failing to deliver, leaving many people to struggle. In contrast, the BJP government decided to provide the plots and necessary documentation.

Recently, a programme was organized where beneficiaries were given possession certificates for 100 square yard plots. On this occasion, Subhash Sudha, Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies, congratulated the beneficiaries receiving plot allotment letters under the housing scheme. Sudha noted that families with an annual income below Rs 180,000 applied under this scheme, and the chief minister provided benefits to eligible beneficiaries.

Saini also mentioned that the state government had recently distributed cards to families with an income of less than Rs 100,000 annually under the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana. This scheme benefits about 230,000 families, or around 840,000 members, who receive 1,000 kilometers of free bus travel within the state transport system annually. (Source: ET)
