Hindustan Zinc has launched the Zinc Freight Bazaar, a digital-first logistics platform aimed at revolutionising the zinc procurement process. As the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, Hindustan Zinc is the first non-ferrous metal company in India to offer this innovative solution. The Zinc Freight Bazaar streamlines logistics with features such as live tracking, a logistics planner, and a bidding tool, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. This platform offers a one-stop solution, allowing customers to make informed decisions and improve production planning. Arun Misra, CEO of Hindustan Zinc, stated, "By integrating digitalisation, we’re creating a seamless, tech-enabled experience that simplifies procurement and strengthens our supply chain." Zinc, vital for industries like infrastructure, automotive, and renewable energy, is offered through the platform alongside a variety of LME-registered products, including special high-grade zinc and EcoZen, Asia’s first low-carbon zinc.
