IGI Airport Starts Bus Service from Terminals to Agra
Travellers flying into Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport and planning to visit Agra, home to the Taj Mahal, now have access to a new luxury bus service connecting the two cities. The service, announced by Delhi International Airport (DIAL), aims to enhance travel convenience and improve connectivity for both domestic and international tourists.
The luxury bus service, launched in collaboration with a private operator, will operate twice daily in both directions. This initiative is designed to offer a comfortable and reliable transportation option for passengers seeking a seamless journey between Delhi and Agra.
According to DIAL, the bus service features designated pick-up and drop-off points at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 of IGI Airport. In Agra, the designated stop is the Bus Lounge located in Mayapur on Fatehabad Road, a convenient location for tourists heading toward the city’s major attractions.
The daily schedule currently includes departures from Delhi at 11:00 am and 11:00 pm, providing flexible travel options for passengers arriving at different times. Tickets for the service can be pre-booked online through the official IGI Airport website, ensuring hassle-free access for travellers planning their journey in advance.
This new transport facility is expected to benefit a large number of visitors by offering a direct, luxurious, and efficient travel alternative to one of India’s most iconic tourist destinations.
